When Suoh sees returned group, he raises a brow.

“Ahaha”

For starters, Totsuka decides, that laughing might fool Suoh. It can be seen that the four of them are really worn-out. Especially Yata and Fushimi – because of their fight with the sword-carrying opponents, their clothes are torn here and there and shallow cuts cover their bodies.

Suoh beckons Totsuka to come up to him and the laughing man steps up to him still grinning as if nothing is happening. The moment he reaches his king, however, Suoh raises his hand and puts it on other’s right shoulder causing Totsuka to raise his voice from the intense pain that replaces the dull pain which was there only a moment ago.

“Ouch…”

This causes Suoh to sigh.

“…grinning like that. Haven’t you sprained this, huh?”

“Eh, seriously!?” Yata leans forward with surprise on his face. Differently from him and Fushimi, who are covered with shallow cuts all over, until now, Totsuka seemed to be unharmed to him.

Totsuka waves with his unharmed hand.

“No no, it’s not like I broke a tendon or something. More importantly, Yata and Saru-kun are also in this kind of state! First of all, you should go use the shower upstairs and wash your bodies and wounds.”

Yata glances at Fushimi’s face with a perplexed look. Fushimi simply turns up his chin with his usually somehow pouting expression without looking even slightly agitated or perturbed.

“You go ahead.”

Hearing Fushimi’s words, Yata looks hesitantly at Totsuka and Suoh and mutters “but… upstairs is…”

The thing is, that the second floor of the bar is Suoh’s space which makes Yata feel overly hesitant about whether to go upstairs or no.

“It’s alright, so just use it.” Says Suoh.

“No way! Then, excuse me!” Bowing his head and giving Totsuka last gaze of anxiety, Yata walks upstairs.

“Just don’t wake up Anna-chan who is sleeping on the second floor!” Points out Kusanagi before Yata completely disappears from his sight and sighs, walking out from the counter.

“Totsuka, Fushimi, sit there. I will give you first aid treatment.”

Kusanagi takes out the first-aid kit and makes the two injured members sit down on chairs.

“Erm… I’m so sorry.”

Kamamoto vacantly bows his head, appearing beside Totsuka, who looks at him with puzzled look on his face.

“Eh? About what?”

Kamamoto looks at his feet looking incredibly ashamed, and mutters: “You were injured, even though we were there together…”

Kamamoto’s words make Totsuka childishly blink his eyes without getting the meaning of what is being said to him for several moments. When the words finally sink in, he drops his head and a bitter smile forms on his lips.

“No no no…let’s stop this… really, it’s completely my own fault for being unable to defend myself.”

“But still!”

This situation is almost impossibly gloomy, and Totsuka scratches his head with an exhausted expression on his face.

I am a member of HOMRA and yet I cannot fight.

Usually he is the kind of person who doesn’t worry about small things, and most of the time he doesn’t have any complexes. However, at times like this, even his heart starts to hurt.

“It’s alright. It’s alright. He is unexpectedly good at withstanding blows so it’s nothing for you to worry about.”

This little sentence from Kusanagi helps both Kamamoto and Totsuka out of equally awkward situation and Totsuka, thankful to the bartender, nods his head in agreement.

While this happens and Fushimi looks at the scene in front of him with apathetic eyes, a loud scream fills the air.

“kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

It is a male’s voice. Or, to put it more frankly, it is Yata’s voice. Despite break of his voice passing long time ago, the scream resembles that of a girl. Totsuka and Kamamoto share puzzled glances, hoping to find the answer in other’s eyes, however the only thing they can read out is “?”. Totsuka then looks at Fushimi who is sitting next to him.

Fushimi is looking up with a puzzled look on his face and with his brows knitted together.

“What’s that…?”

Kusanagi’s hand that was about to open the first aid-kit stops in the mid-air. He glances at Suoh.

Nobody feels like jumping up and running to where scream came from, however, for simply letting it go, the curiosity is way too big. The first one to stand up with an unpleased expression is Fushimi, followed by Totsuka, Kamamoto, Kusanagi and even Suoh.

They climb up the stairs and head for the shower room.

The view that opens to the eyes of those five first, is that of a back of a small girl. And then, when looking inside the dressing room with steam hanging over it, what can be seen is blushing, and completely nude Yata. Apparently he had decided to just quickly shower and had already got over with it. Yata is now completely soaked through with his wet hair sticking to his head. Perhaps because of that, he bears a close resemblance to a small dog drenched from the rain.

The situation becomes clear in no time.

“Wha-What!? What is it!?”

With a breaking voice and strange words coming out of his mouth, Yata tries to say something to Anna.

Anna, feeling slight pity for him, as well as admiration and compassion, but showing none of it on her face, simply states while looking expressionlessly at Yata’s naked body:

“I came to wash my hands.”

She had probably gone to toilet and afterwards decided to go and wash her hands. She then opened the door to the room in which she ended up face to face with naked Yata.

“Wai….eeeeh!?”

However Yata is still in state of extreme confusion and does not even understand that he should cover himself. Instead of that he simply lets out strange noises while doing something similar to an awkward dance.

“… how about you leave showing off your virginity to this extent.”

Says Fushimi with an annoyed expression that seems to say that in this world there are some really meaningless things he has to see.

“Bu- But there’s a woman suddenly entering the room and…!”

“This isn’t a woman right? It’s just a brat right?”

“It’s- It’s bad for the education right!”

“That’s why for the sake of that education, quickly hide that obscene thing.”

While Fushimi and Yata are arguing, Totsuka turns Anna around with his safe hand and makes her face the opposite direction.

“Haa, I thought it was something stupid, but this was stupider that I could’ve ever imagined.”

Kusanagi sighs, and leaves the dressing room while doing circles with his shoulders. Suoh also turns his back without saying anything but having a face of a person who just saw something incredibly meaningless.

“Yata-san…”

Kamamoto is the only one to stay behind. He looks at Yata with pity and holds out a bath towel.
